Align Pulse is a Chrome extension built by Align Marketing Group. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, stores, and how it is used.

What the extension does

Align Pulse analyzes the marketing effectiveness of a professional-services website you’re viewing. When you click the extension icon and select “Analyze This Page,” it reads the page’s content and structure — page title, meta description, headings, images, links, forms, testimonials, credentials, and similar marketing signals — and generates a locally-computed Marketing Score with recommendations. It also includes a Compare tool (to compare a saved audit of your own firm against a competitor’s) and a Swipe File (to save marketing examples found while browsing) that support the core audit experience.

Data we access

The extension reads the visible content and HTML structure of the webpage you are viewing, only when you click “Analyze This Page,” or the URL of a page/link you choose to save via “Save to Align Swipe File.” This is the only data the extension accesses from webpages.

Data we store

The following is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in storage (chrome.storage.local) and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Saved audit reports (scores and signals from pages you’ve analyzed)
• Swipe File items (URLs and notes you save)

All of this data stays on your device. Uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage removes it permanently.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, location data, authentication credentials, financial information, health information, personal communications, or user activity such as clicks or keystrokes beyond the specific page-analysis actions described above. We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind. The extension does not require an account, login, or any personal information to use.

Where your data goes

Nowhere. All analysis, scoring, and content generation happens entirely inside your browser using built-in rules and templates — there is no backend server, no external API, and no AI service involved. Align Pulse does not send any data to Align Marketing Group or any third party.

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties. We do not use data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to the extension’s purpose of assessing and improving a website’s marketing effectiveness.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised “Last updated” date.
